 My husband and I were on the fence about getting our home staged to put on the market. We had no idea of what this would entail or if it would even make a difference.  When my nonprofit moved into a new building, I had 5 women on staff – 5 women with very different opinions and taste related to decorating our space.  Abby Sutton is a fantastic designer and surpassed every expectation we had while working with her on our music room makeover. My project was especially difficult as it was a surprise drum room makeover for my husbands 40th birthday. Abby is extremely creative and also organized. She designed our drum room and didn’t leave out a single detail! She created a budget spreadsheet very early on in the process and worked within our budget and time frame. She met with contractors before and during the project to get the best people involved in the creation of our new room. She surpassed any expectation I had for this room and made the whole process a pure joy! I trust her fully with any design decisions but also I literally handed over the keys to our home for several days for the transformation to take place. She took excellent care of our project and of our home while we were away. The room is not only visually stunning but the technical and sound quality of the room is top notch.  I LOVED working with Abby! The whole process was very enjoyable. Before Abby came I felt like our house was very bare and didn’t flow well. I also had a few trouble spots where I wasn’t happy with what I had there but couldn’t figure out what to do in that space. Abby came with really good ideas and was very receptive to my feedback. If she had an idea that I didn’t like, she didn’t push it. If I had an idea she listened and came up with good ideas. I am so happy with how the project turned out! I feel like our house is more welcoming now with the front room setup and I love having our art area contained! The little decorative touches Abby helped place really help bring everything together 🙂 Abby was laid-back and completely fine with dealing with my wanna-be designer daughter “helping” us and my other two crazy kiddos running around.
